History

Abbott Church has been a worshipping community on the corner of Bank Street and Highland Avenue for more than 140 years.

Welsh immigrants living in Canton started the church and originally services were held in both the Welsh and English languages in a desire to reach more of the neighborhood with the good news of the gospel.
