Community

Abbott Church has been an integral part of the southeast Baltimore community known as Highlandtown almost from the time it was still known as Snake Hill. Our church manse was once the home of the very first neighborhood resident, Thomas McGuinness. Abbott has always sought to be a church, not only in Highlandtown, but also for Highlandtown. We want to be a church that is constantly pursuing justice, compassion, righteousness, healing, wholeness and peace in our community.

At Abbott, we are also committed to working alongside our neighbors.
